JSB.Bank - New Domain Name

The Jefferson Security Bank website is getting a new home! Our web address will change to www.JSB.Bank within the next few days.  The .Bank domain will offer our customers enhanced security.  Not to worry, you will be automatically directed to the new domain if you visit the original web address ( In the event the domain change has affected your web visit, please contact us at 304-876-9030 and we will happily address any questions you may have. 

In an attempt to mitigate any issues, we encourage all of our customers to print this page as reference material in the event there is difficulty viewing our new site due to the web address modification. The web address modification can be expected to occur early this month.

Along with the web address change for added cyber defense, there will also be few security updates.  JSB will now use an SSL certificate created by GEO Trust.  You may notice this in the left hand corner of the address bar.  This serves as your notification that the page is secure and that JSB is using the latest 256-bit encryption.  This may cause issues with CACHE and COOKIES settings.  In the event yours are affected, you will need to clear the cookies and cache.  If you are having problems with the website, please make sure you’re using the latest browser. If you’re using a Mac computer, make sure you are using Apple Safari as your browser. In the event you would like more guidance, JSB has provided information about how to clear cookies and cache based on specific browsers below:


  1. In the browser bar, enter: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  1. Select the following:
    1. Browsing history
    2. Download history
    3. Cookies and other site and plug-in data
    4. Cached images and files

From the Obliterate the following items from: drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select the beginning of time.

  1. Click Clear browsing data.
  2. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.


  1. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History.
    1. If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.
    2. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
    3. Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.
    4. Click Clear Now.
    5. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

Internet Explorer 9 and higher


As of January 12, 2016, Microsoft has ended support for Internet Explorer versions prior to version 11, unless you are running Windows Vista SP2 or certain versions of Windows Server; for a complete list of exceptions, see Microsoft Support Lifecycle. UITS strongly recommends that you upgrade to a new operating system if your current system does not support Internet Explorer 11 and is not on Microsoft's list of exceptions.

  1. Select Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history...If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.’
  2. Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select:
    1. Temporary Internet files or Temporary Internet files and website files
    2. Cookies or Cookies and website data
    3. History
    4. Click Delete. You will see a confirmation at the bottom of the window when the process is complete.
    5. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.



Safari 8

  1. From the Safari menu, select Clear History and Website Data....
  2. Select the desired time range, and then click Clear History.
  3. Go to Safari > Quit Safari or press Command-Q to exit the browser completely.

Safari 7 and below

  1. From the Safari menu, select Reset Safari....
  2. Select the items you want to reset, and then click Reset. As of Safari 5.1, Remove all website data includes both cookies and cache.
  3. Go to Safari > Quit Safari or press Command-Q to exit the browser completely.
